Lingham's Hot Tomato Salsa

Prep: 15 Minutes 
Total Time: 20 Minutes 
Serves: 8


  • 6 ripe medium sized tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander 
  • 1 large red onion 
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp Lingham’s Extra Hot Chilli Sauce (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice 
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 2 pinch of fine salt 
  • 1 pinch of coarse black pepper 


  1. Finely chop the tomatoes and coriander and place in to a large bowl 
  2. Peel and finely chop the onion 
  3. Peel and finely grate the garlic 
  4. Add the onion and garlic in to the bowl of tomatoes and coriander
  5. Add lime juice, extra virgin olive oil and mix well 
  6. Season with salt, black pepper and more lime juice (if needed) 
  7. Serve straightaway or cover and set aside for a few hours to let the flavours develop
